Vivek Oberoi is an Indian actor who predominantly appears in Hindi films, in addition to Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam language films. He debuted with Ram Gopal Varma's Company in 2002. His performance in the film earned him the Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut and Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actor.[1][2]

In the same year, he starred in the romantic-drama Saathiya, which earned him a nomination for the Filmfare Award for Best Actor. He is most known for his roles in Yuva (2004),[3]Omkara (2006), Shootout at Lokhandwala (2007) and Kurbaan (2009). He received recognition for his villainous roles in Vivegam (2017) and Lucifer (2019).

Biography

Vivek Oberoi was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Oberoi kickstarted his acting career in various films such as "Road" (2002), "Saathiya" (2002) and the Ajay Devgan crime picture "The Company" (2003). He also appeared in "Dum" (2003), "Masti" (2004) and "Yuva" (2004). He continued to work steadily in film throughout the early 2000s, appearing in "Kisna" (2005), "Kaal" (2005) and "Home Delivery" (2005). He also appeared in "Pyare Mohan" (2006). In his more recent career, he continued to act in "Shot in Bombay" (2008) with Sanjay Dutt, "Mission Istanbul" (2008) with Zayed Khan and "Kurbaan" (2009). He also appeared in "Prince" (2010) and "Rakht Charitra - 1" (2010). Oberoi most recently acted in "Krrish 3" (2013) with Hrithik Roshan.
