It was a tough ending to Daton Fix’s Cowboy Wrestling career, but now he can somewhat run from his problems in a way.
Fix’s career at Oklahoma State ended with a 5-3 loss to Cornell’s Vito Arujau in the NCAA Wrestling Championships 133-pound final Saturday night in Kansas City, Missouri. It was the fourth finals loss for Fix. He finished with the 10th-most wins in Cowboy Wrestling history at 123-7. He’s also the first five-time All-American and five-time conference champion in OSU history.
Although Fix will never wear an orange singlet again, his wrestling career isn’t over yet. Fix will compete at the 2024 Olympic Team Trials on April 19-20 in College Station, Pennsylvania.
