With a dynamic background encompassing over 20 years of manufacturing experience, primarily in production and machining, alongside 15 years in supervisory roles, Ken brings a wealth of knowledge and a fresh perspective to his new role.
Decades of Dedication
Ken’s journey at Micro-LAM started in May 2022 in the applications lab as a CNC diamond turning machinist, where he significantly contributed to our BOLT production standards through his work on optical lenses and research on various manufacturing parameters. His expertise in continuous improvement and organization standards has greatly enhanced our operational efficiency and product quality.

Kenneth Oldenburg
Kenneth A. Oldenburg, age 81, of Grand Rapids, passed away Saturday, March 18, 2006 after a lengthy courageous battle with cancer. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Betty; children, Dale (Betsie) Oldenburg, Carol (Greg) Hopping, Ross (Beth) Oldenburg, Mark (Jayne) Oldenburg, Craig (Mary) Oldenburg; twelve grandchildren; sister, Jean Hefferen of Mt. Prospect, IL; sister-in-law, Geraldine Schulze of Roselle, IL; also several nieces, nephews and cousins. Kenneth served his country during WWII with the Navy in the Pacific Theatre. He had a 30 year career working for Michigan Litho and retired in 1987. He celebrated his life and his family. He had a wonderful sense of humor which he kept until the end of his life. The funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at St. James Lutheran Church, 2040 Oakwood N.E. with Rev. James H. Blain officiating. Interment will be in Fairplains Cemetery.
