From his thrilling autobiography of becoming the world’s most famous hacker to his educational content about social engineering and major security threats, his work is still just as captivating on paper today as he was on screen.

Decades of experience compromising systems made Kevin an esteemed source of almost everything cyber security. He provided expert witness services for major brands and had been a commentator, security analyst, and interview subject for almost every major news outlet around the globe.

Kevin was retained by several United States governmental agencies, including the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), the Social Security Administration, and the Federal Aviation Administration. The United States Courts had also requested Kevin’s services as a keynote speaker for a cybercrime conference for the United States Courts.

Kevin Mitnick (born August 6, 1963) is an American computer security consultant, author, and hacker. In the mid nineties, he was “The World’s Most Wanted Hacker”. Since 2000, he has been a successful security consultant, public speaker and author.

Kevin does security consulting for Fortune 500 companies, performs penetration testing services for the world’s largest companies and teaches Social Engineering classes to dozens of companies and government agencies. His last book ‘Ghost in the Wires: My Adventures as the World’s Most Wanted Hacker’ was a New York Times bestseller.

In 2000, Miramax made a movie made about Kevin’s life, which was based on the book Takedown by John Markoff and Tsutomu Shimomura. The DVD was released in September 2004. An independent documentary was made that corrected many errors in the Miramax movie.

Abracadabra! Kevin Mitnick, the world’s most famous hacker, suddenly appears in our East Coast studios on Oct. 19, 2019, a Saturday afternoon, at 4:38 p.m.

It’s a brisk sunny day and Mitnick’s hair is windswept from the breeze off Northport Harbor. He’s decked out in black from head to toe — glasses, t-shirt, jeans, and sneakers. We stare.

He’s a little rumpled and jet-lagged after a twelve-hour flight from Australia, and his assistant offers up a neatly pressed black button-down shirt. We say hello, and supply a hairbrush.
