FUP Scientific Cloud in Numbers

Firenze University Press coined the “Scientific Cloud for Books” label to designate the whole ecosystem surrounding high-quality scientific books, and to fully exploit digital tools, with the purpose of ensuring greater visibility and impact of both monographs and collective volumes. Via its Scientific Cloud, FUP enhances scientific publications a) by implementing policies and methodologies based on international best practices, b) by defining measurable and traceable quality standards, and c) by proposing Open Access as the main path for disseminating research and measuring its impact in terms of views and downloads, through certifiable metrics (Counter5).
