Terry Scott, born Owen John Scott, (4 May 1927 – 26 July 1994) was an English actor and comedian who appeared in seven of the Carry On films.[1] He is also well known for appearing in the BBC1sitcomsHappy Ever After and Terry and June with June Whitfield.

Early life

Scott was born and brought up in Watford, Hertfordshire,[2] and educated at Watford Field Junior School and Watford Grammar School for Boys. He was the youngest of three children, and the only surviving son after his brother Aubrey died when Scott was six.[2&

Biography:

Terry Anne Scott has taught history at Bellevue College since 2010.  She is an assistant professor of History at Hood College in Maryland. She previously worked as a lecturer at the University of Washington where she was nominated for a distinguished teaching award.  Dr. Scott earned her Ph.D. in History at the University of Chicago, where she was awarded the Trustees Fellowship.  She received her undergraduate degree in History at Arizona State University, and graduated with distinction from Southern Methodist University with a Masters Degree in History.  A native of Chicago, professor Scott’s research focuses on race, urban history, sports, and the South.   She is currently completing two book-length manuscripts.  The first explores how lynching, once a strictly punitive and largely clandestine form of political and labor domination, evolved into publicly viewed, well-attended, frequently commercialized exhibitions of racial violence.  Her second manuscript examines the genesis and defense of racial homogeneity in white Dallas,
